A study conducted by Dr. Biasiotto at the University of Chicago was done to show the impact of visualization in sport.
He split people into three groups and tested each group on how many free throws they could make.
-Group 1 only practiced free throws every day for an hour
-Group 2 only visualized themselves making perfect free throws.
-Group 3 did nothing.
After 30 days, he tested them again.
Group 1 improved by 24%.
Group 2 improved by 23% without touching a basketball
Group 3 did not improve.
Visualize yourself as a successful person, spend a few minutes each day impressing that person which you want to become into your subconscious.
This will also sharpen your concentration skills and your will power.
